Reviews and Ratings
I spent 3 nights at this hotel after returning from a cruise and stayed in an executive room on level 4. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy with a large bathroom. However, the only drawback was the wash basin being in the corner of the room instead of the bathroom. The inclusive breakfast had a good variety but lacked more European food options.
The hotel offers a perfect view of the City, especially The Singapore Flyer. The rooms were nice and quiet, equipped with a work desk, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a lovely bed, and a small refrigerator (no mini-bar). However, it seems the housekeeping overlooked some areas like makeup drawers containing earbuds and prayer books found in the closet.
The hotel rooms are very big compared to others in Singapore, though lacking in privacy and prone to noise coming from the check-in counter. Having a bathtub is a plus, however, falling short of superior standards.
The hotel has a fabulous location near two MRT stations, Chinatown & Clarke Quay, and offers a convenient setting for exploring the major attractions. The rooms are clean and spacious, but some may have unattractive views. Service was friendly and helpful overall, although there were minor issues with accusations post-departure. The dining experience lacked certain amenities but offered unique touches like homemade jams.
Despite both myself and my wife complaining after our complaint, the hotel was a bit expensive for the size but clean, comfortable, and nice. The service was lacking, with check-in and check-out guests being a challenge, especially during weekends. The location was convenient with access to various attractions and transportation options. The dining experience was good overall, offering a variety of cuisine choices. The facilities were adequate.
My stay at the hotel was delightful overall. The location was superb, close to Chinatown and within walking distance of Clarke Quay and the Central Business District. The rooms were cozy, but some had small windows facing the lobby. The service was a mix of highs and lows, with attentive staff alongside accusations after checkout. The dining options were average, with limited selection and slightly expensive. The facilities were adequate, and the extra luggage storage option was convenient.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and ideal for large groups, although it took a bit of time for the staff to address the stuffy and sweltering initial conditions. The service was excellent, especially in dealing with requests promptly. The location, although in need of refurbishment, was convenient for exploring the city. The dining experience was average but sufficient. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was pretty good, especially for daytime outings and evening drinks. The room had its issues, like a broken door handle and some noise, but the friendly service made up for it. The dining options were decent, but there were some drawbacks in the facilities provided.
